The duality of my interest in both painting and stained glass is a result of my years at Notre Dame University, studying these two areas under Robert Leader, one of the finest designers of his era. I have been fortunate to have had a number of major commissions in stained glass, however my first love has always been painting.

I have no particular philosophy about my paintings. I paint purely for my own enjoyment or amusement. I try to stay with themes that I know or have experienced. Many times I pick subjects just to challenge myself...to see what is possible.
